Young has more than 26 years of experience in managing funds, underwriting loans, trading distressed debt, and operating startup companies. He held positions in traditional finance at Salomon Brothers Quantitative Research, Citigroup Special Situations Investment Group, and UBS Private Finance. In the crypto industry, he was Chief Investment Officer at Abra, CFO at AltLending, and CFO at Hedera. He has a BS and Masters from Cornell Engineering, and an MPA from Columbia SIPA.
Darren was previously the Director of Finance at Swirlds Labs, which is the code developer for the Hedera network. Darren has over 30 years of accounting & operational experience, with 6 of those years in the startup and digital asset industry. He has a BA in Accounting from Hofstra University with CPA exam completion.
